As spring waters rise and fish populations surge, the “sea of grass” at Wuhu’s Shili Jiangwan has become an underwater celebration of life. This remarkable ecological recovery is the result of Wuhu’s dedicated implementation of the Yangtze River fishing ban.

The “Smart Yangtze” platform features 49 monitoring points, 207 video devices, 12 radar systems, and AI-powered detection with 97% accuracy. Fish resources have increased by 176.4%, native species grew from 35 to 47, and Yangtze finless porpoises now frequently appear.

✈️ Wuhu-Made eVTOL Accelerates Toward Commercial Flight

Wuhu’s aviation industry reached new heights as TCab Tech signed a strategic partnership with the Civil Aircraft Flight Test Center of China. The collaboration focuses on E20 eVTOL flight testing technology and airworthiness certification.

The E20 eVTOL “air taxi” represents the future of urban air mobility. The manufacturing base broke ground in Wanzi District in August 2025, marking a key milestone in Wuhu’s ambition to become a national low-altitude economy hub.

🚂 Wuhu Launches Two Multimodal Express Freight Trains

Wuhu’s transportation network achieved a major breakthrough with the simultaneous launch of two new multimodal express freight services connecting the city to both northeast and southern China.

  • Wuhu → Dalian: 35-38 hours (40% faster), 20-25% cost reduction
  • Wuhu → Guangdong: 28-32 hours, 20-25% cost reduction
